Exeter BJJ is Exeter's premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club, founded in 2004. Our aim to provide an open and unbiased training environment people from all walks of life.
For many, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is much, much more than just a martial art and has many benefits outside of this, including physical health, your mental well-being, and more.
Our club is very fortunate to be home to 3 excellent Black Belts, (Professors' James Hodges, Alaric Moore, and Chris Jones) all of which enjoy sharing their vast knowledge openly with students of the club.
Testimony to the quality of the knowledge that our instructors impart can be seen in the long list of the clubs achievements in competitions.
This includes several members who have achieved multiple national championships, as well as some of our members that have entered competitions on an international level.
In addition to the benefits to your health, wellbeing and Jiu Jitsu ability, your social life improves also. There is a strong feeling of friendship and family at the club, with new members welcomed openly with no prejudice or judgement, allowing anyone to enjoy and improve their lives through Jiu Jitsu.
