Each person in the club will have had a different reason for starting their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey. Some started here at Exeter BJJ, some started at other clubs/academies before moving to Exeter.
Some people start BJJ for self defence, other because they want to compete. Some due it for the health benefits, both mentally and physically. Others just want to try something new.
Now every session, each member walks into the gym with the goal of getting better at BJJ. In doing so everyone improves in other aspects of their lives, including their health, mental wellbeing, reduction of their stress, etc.
